Can anyone make any recommendations for a decent piece of software to burn flac's to CD??

Yes please, I've got the same problem. The latest version of EAC doesn't come with a FLAC convertor linked anymore.

Chris, I had that installed but didn't realise the function was there. Burning sorted for flac and wavs but no track info. I use EAC and pick up from the database but do I need cue sheets or something?

You should be able to drag and drop stuff into a burn playlist.
There are facilities to write CD text too.
