A very good review in this month's Hi-Fi Choice by a different person this time (the Touch PSU was reviewed by BBC engineer Patrick Cleasby), this time it was Ed Selley who had no hesitation in awarding the power supply 5 stars, recommended.

There are cheaper linear PSU's available but many cannot be up-graded, some do not even come with a mains lead as standard. The MCRU | LDA power supply can be transformed from good to outstanding by a carefully selected choice of up-grades including Furutech gold plated iec inlet, kimber or pure silver dc wiring, better fuse fitting and of course the performance can be improved even further by using a better mains lead, not possible with many competing PSU's. A great deal of thought went into this design in an effort to provide the audiophile with an easy way to improve the sound quality of DAC's and anything else powered by DC, including the SL1200/1210 of course.
