Well, the Gator board was waiting for me when I got home... it was actually easy to fit just as brian2957 said it was.
I gave it a couple of tracks and I am impressed - and very pleased for my £35
My audition track "Whats Going On? by Marvin Gaye" demonstrated a wider soundstage, a much better grip of Marv's sibilance and the layers of overdub were much clearer.
I have Dream Theater on repeat for the next 24 hours (sound turned down, got to think of the neighbours) to give it some burn-in.
