Thanks to Stu (CHELSEA) who has given me a Technics SL-3200 direct drive turntable so I can play what little remains of my record collection.

He found and fitted for me a Shure M75ED2 cartridge which has a stylus that is very badly worn (knackered in fact), so looking for another one that at least can produce some treble output LOL

Looked on ebay and I can buy a replacement pattern Shure N75 stylus for just under £20 but I have never been too confident of these styli with such indeterminate parentage

Max budget is £20 plus post

Ask Expert Styli for one of their N75 pattern styli. Under £20 and at least if not made by them, it will have been vetted for good performance.. If the suspension and cantilever is ok, they could fit a fresh diamond for you, but it will take time and cost..........

Look on eBay and search for Tenorel T2001 cartridge, there's a seller with a couple of new ones. Not many people know about these, but they are a good quality Dutch made licenced copy of the Goldring G800 and sound surprisingly decent. I know as I had one. It should do the job for you and will no doubt be cheap!
