Most honorable companions,
Hello from Denver, Colorado!
My reason for joining is twofold, I was interested in various SL-1200 modifications, and if you poke around a bit, sooner or later you will find a link to this forum. I will be modding mine soon.
That is how I found this place...
But the real reason is because after reading a number of threads I quickly found that the level of politeness, sincerity, and general camaraderie is extremely apparent among the members. It's wonderful! I would like to join this merry band of brothers, I can only hope to be an asset to this community.
Kit - Mainly DIY. In extreme flux right now due to home renovation. Still building, but not getting much time to listen right now.
Music - I like all music, as long as it's good. Not a cop-out statement at all. If you were to look at my record collection (13 linear feet) you would see a decent collection of most everything, but notably quite thin in Rap and Country (American). This is not due to distaste, not at all, there is actually some good Rap, (albiet quite few and far between...) but rather that I have no real idea where to start, and there is lots of music out there in generes that I am familiar with.
Further reading -If you are interested, please take a look at a few of my build threads on DIYaudio. These have been fun, rewarding projects, and are all of very high quality.

Cheers!
