Had a Goldring 1012/1022 back in the day.
Great sound.

The goldring 10** series worked well in Rega's, but I also sold a few Ortofon 500 series (predecessors to the 2M series) with success and sweeter treble than the often gritty or one-note-treble Goldrings. Grado's (Black to Gold) have a gentle presentation and this works in the P 2 as well.

Dl110 was a good match on my RB250

I've tried quite a few on a Rega P2/RB250 and my favourite all rounder was the Goldring 1012GX, quite expensive now though....1006 would still be good.
