Longtime lurker, I finally plucked up the courage to join! I've been into hifi for just a few years but into music for far longer, and I still go to a fair few gigs.

At the moment I've got a pair of Martin Logan Vantages in my main system, driven by a Meridian 559 power amp and a Musical Fidelity A1 FBP pre. Sources are a Squeezebox Touch fed into an Abrahamsen V6 DAC, and a Rega P3-24 / Groovetracer subplatter / Denon DL-160 / Trichord Dino for vinyl.

Rather than making major changes to my main system (which I'm fairly happy with for the time being) I'm experimenting with second (and third) systems these days.

Yum indeed, I ran them from an ELectrocompaniet ECI-5 before, which was lovely, but since moving to a Meridian 559 / MF pre they've really come alive!
