Hi David, do you wi-fi your tunes or hard wire them?

Hardwire. I've been an SB user since the original Slim Devices Squeezebox and have always hardwired.

Sorry to turn this Gallery (excellent minimalistic set up btw) post into a Squeeze box questionnaire.
Do the music files need to be stored in a certain folder and tagged for the SB to find them?
What music file format do you use?

thanks

All of my files are in FLAC in a directory on my server (I use a Windows Home Server, rather than a NAS). The structure is as follows:-

<root folder><artist><album><tracks+artwork>

Looks increasingly like the future of many good audio systems. Hope you like the speakers :)

Speakers are great and excellent VFM but not quite the same as my previous Shahinian Obelisks!!!

Got some Beyerdynamic T70 Headphones on trial at the moment, very impressed.

Small Mackie active pro monitors. Interesting! -- how do they compare? A review would be great. :)

Have you thought about adding the subwoofer? http://www.mackie.com/products/hrs120/
Oooo - I just looked at the price for the sub - more than the speakers!

Jerry

I'll get around to a review at some point, but for studio monitors they have quite a wide dispersion, and certainly in my system they have a habit of disappearing (though I think that is more down to the Leema DAC, which in my view is an astonishing piece of kit).

They do have an ABR, so bass goes quite low for their enclosure size (there also don't sound like they are in an enclosure, not a 'boxy' sound). Since my divorce I'm not living in the middle of 10 acres but in a terraced barn conversion, so have neighbours, it's not brilliantly soundproofed so I have stayed away from subs at the moment!
