Hi Guys,

Selling my Caiman which was purchased recently from another forum member,
Sounds very good, but I have decided against the digital route and will be sticking with my vinyl setup, looking for £145 plus postage,

here is a link to the original advert: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=18149

Any questions, please just ask.

cheers

Nigel

Hi,

Open to offers on the Caiman, it will be going onto the bay at the weekend, would prefer an AOS member to have this though.

regards

Guys, Nigel bought this DAC off me and it has Dexa regs, Elna Silmic II caps, a Gator board with all Stan's approved mods (caps, inductor, AD826 opamp). It sounds very nice compared to a standard Gatorized Caiman.

MartinT has a similarly modified Caiman and can probably vouch for the sound quality reproduced.

It's a bargain for what Nigel is asking for it!

Add a good quality linear PSU to it and it is very nice! :)

Yep, a Caiman modded to this level is a very nice DAC indeed. I'm not selling mine even though I have a Bushmaster.

I still have one too. :) I'm listening to it right now.

I sold one to buy a Bushmaster.

Not sure if you received my last PM, but I'm happy to pay your asking price.

I'd understand though if you choose to sell it on eBay.
