Careful with the 30s, my memory may be failing me but I recall they had overblown bass for typical UK rooms. If you've tried them and loved them then ignore me!

The 30's need tri-wiring, or some carefully engineered connections :) Suitably powered, preferably bi-amped, the 30's do sort themselves out into a stunningly capable speaker IMO. get 'em wrong and it's as Clive suggests - prominant bass that clouds and thickens the midband up.
