I've just ordered a Bushmaster and I need some cash to refill the coffers. So I've decided to part with my beloved TC-7520 that I use at work. It's the version with 2 coax, 1 optical and 1 USB input and It's been heavily upgraded with the following:

Mundorf 10,000uF 25V reservoir cap.
Elna Silmic II caps. 13 in total.
Murata super regulators. 12V and 5V.
Gator board (fitted with LME49720HA metal can opamp).
Caiman 15V SMPS.

It's in excellent condition and will come complete with it's original box once I find it. Please note that I have not upgraded the DAC chip to the Wolfson model used in the Caiman. I never bothered as I bought a Caiman to mod instead. I'll post some photo's ASAP.

I'm looking for £160 including insured postage within the UK. The upgrades alone cost me over £100.

Cheers. :)

Hi Dave.
Is your 7520 now passive or not as I would want to use as a pre-amp.

Cheers

Hi Pete,

It has a Gator board fitted. So that means it has a discreet active stage for the fixed and variable output and an opamp based headphone output. So it will work very well as a preamp. :)
