Greetings to all - first up i dont own a Technics TT !
But i do have something interesting with an A90 on the end :)
Welcome Eel(?) :).
I could be wrong, but I suspect your introductory '1'st post' may be considered a little too 'minimalistic'...:).
Hi Eel and welcome to AoS. I've been looking at your new tonearm in the other thread. Nice.

Gooday Lee and welcome to the AoS. Enjoy. :)
Hello again - have now added some more to my profile - will hopefully be an active contributor. This place seems pretty friendly :)
Welcome to AoS Lee.
We don't all own Technics decks here! You have an interesting looking system there Lee. Some more photographs of it would be nice if you can manage it.
What are your tastes in music?
Welcome again
Regards

Haha! The Technics 1200 is a very popular deck, but I'm not the only member who does not use one. :eyebrows: There are a few of us deviants about!
I'm an idler/rim-drive man. :)

Yeah cheers - have been building and swapping boxes for donkeys years.
Arrived at a system and more importantly a sound that i am happy with about 5 or 6 years ago - just minor tweaks and upgrades since then.
I buy plenty of records and always have - always amazes me when you go to listen to some audiophiles systems and they have a very small amount of records or CD's - surely the music is paramount?
Am i being cynical?!

No you're not being cynical at all. I have known people who have spent tens of thousands on an audio system, yet possess less than twenty LPs or CDs! :mental:
Lovelly sysytem I remember hearing the TT at Graham's when he first started to import the Raven was very tempted but went down another route

I sold some very expensive amps years back ( no names mentioned, sic.) but he had less than 50 CD's - yet dropped well over £25k on his system.
