That is a great thread Keith and props to Lynx for doing so well with the HILO it's a serious piece of engineering. It'd be interesting to see the correlation between transparency and 'voted sound quality' from a blind test of these.

Simon Hi, yes ,I have had a few of the dacs on that list, the MH 2 and 8 ,sq wise I prefer the Hilo.
