As I have now started my Quad ESL 57 rebuild I have quite a few original parts that are doing nothing but taking up room.
I have the two original gold front covers and one is perfect and the one shown here is in the worst shape with a very slight ding on the left hand side as hown in the photograph, in the real world you have to look hard to see it, the other is perfect and unmarked.
I have two sets of side rails, the original as taken from the panels and the two pairs you see below in the photograph which are made from oak and are in an unfinished state, sanded ready for oil/wax/varnish whatever.
I also have a complete set of six feet, original as removed from the speakers.
I really have no idea what this lot is worth as I see some really daft prices on ebay, a set of feet were on there last week for instance for fifty quid! Ideally I would like to see the lot go but I will split the items. Obviously I am not going to sell one leg, you can buy the lot but I am struggling with a price. Now, I will NOT post the front covers, don't ask, but you can collect them from me in Manchester or London Centre. You can of course arrange your own courier but that is entirely at your risk.
How about we start at £75 for the lot? I will leave it on here for the week but as I really can't have the bits lying around they will be on the 'bay at the end of the week.
