I'm planning to make new stands or base units for my Altec/Jabo horns as the DIY cork ones I'm currently using are not too solid or reliable and I think it might also have impact to the speakers sonic performance because of bad decoupling. There are just few commercials options available e.g the model from CH Audio pictured below. Of course I have already some ideas considering the mechanics and adjustability spinning at my head but if you have some experience of this or some suggestions I'm eager to hear them..
