Hi,

I have been bitten by the audiophile bug and am looking for ways to improve my audio listening experience.

My source is a Mac computer with Pure Music, Amarra and Fidelia installed. All of my music is stored in flac/wav with 65% 44/48 khz, 25% 24/96 khz and the remaining 10% in 192khz. My tastes are very varied from jazz, film scores, classical to R&b and Hip Hop.

So far I have got Music Fidelity M1HPA headphone amp and am currently looking for a suitable DAC to accompany it. As this will be a long term investment I am currently looking up M2Tech Young to go with. Trouble is that I am struggling to know which (RCA) interconnects to go with between DAC and the amp. Currently this will solely be used for headphone listening.

My headphones are Denon AHD7000 with ampcity fidelis recable.

Look forward to being a part of this community.

Josh

Hi Ankur, welcome to AoS from me as well :) Can't you use a different connection, somelike AES/EBU? Pity if not as it's vastly superior to S/PDIF via phono sockets as they are a mismatch impedance wise :(

Hope you enjoy your stay

@ Reid Malenfant: I told you I am a newb, now why didn't I think of that. I thought I had it all figured out as well
