Hello again :)
Are there any such things as Hi FI Clubs ?
I the past I have had membership to fishing / Photography / etc and always found it to be an excellent way to gain knowledge and learn
So are there any Clubs / enthusiast groups in or around east London / Essex
Many thanks for any advice :)
There is the New Ash Green Hi Fi club, known as Nag-Fi, near Maidstone. Can't find contact details but
P700 on pink Fish is a member so you could PM him.

You could use this forum to look for people in your area and create a club. Many of us just have informal 'bake-offs' where we meet up at a member's place with equipment to trial. There is often a theme such as turntables or DACs. It's a great way to get to know other forum members.
Yes I met a few people this way. its a great way to meet people, hear some new music have a laugh and hear different gear
Perhaps organise a bake off
Yes, i've met a few freaks this way....

 probably the funniest comment I've seen on here in a good while... feck it, I'm going to organise 'piss off newcastle' !
Hi all,
I might have room for 1-2 AoS members tomorrow (Sunday 8th). It is in East Berkshire starting 2pm (come at 1pm, if you like).
Weather being what it is, what was going to be a barbecue will turn into a home-made pizza session.
Hi-Fi will be a kit Audio Note 2.1 Signature DAC into a home-made/designed interstage valve amp (no caps in signal path) & a pair of Audio Note AZ-Three floor-standing loudspeakers. John will be bringing a mystery amp.
PM me if interested.

Oh no! If you didn't have them with the hemp cones, I suggest you try them out with those in, they make a vast improvement.

Yes Andrew, hemp cones were what was on then, same as the AN E's/J's of this world as was confirmed by a owner of E's (who couldn't believe his eyes),
moved them on to a nice chap from the Wam as the Quasi horn loading was too boomy in my small flat with thin walls when i downgraded from my solidly built house.:(
