Pictures of Garrard 401 plinth under construction (Oak and American Black Walnut). Motor chassis is fully isolated negating any need for a separate armboard. plinth is height adjustable to get the platter nice and level:

This one just needs the cut out for the arm completed and the woodwork finished with 6 coats of lacquer after sanding and the acoustic isolation feet adding to the lower plinth.

Prices for similar plinths from around £550.

Solid timber used throughout or I can supply the very highest grade (blemish free) sawn-cut veneers in Burr Maple, Walnut, Rosewood, Zebrano, Cherry, Oak, Burr Walnut and many others. Veneer finish is a very high quality high gloss lacquer, (mirror polished finish) and veneers can be applied over 36mm Birch ply plinth sections. There are very few turntable plinths of this quality available in the UK in solid timber or using such high quality veneer finishes. If you'd like a superb piece of furniture that performs flawlessly wrt isolation and want something different from a slate plinth, this may well be the answer for you.

Prices all on application.
