Hello from sunny Greece

Hello everyone

This is Dimitri from Athens. My love for my SL1200 brought me here.
Of course I love music and I run a semi custom rig with DIY pre (custom buffer -unity gain boards driven by LDRs) and phono stage (custom 47labs based MM), a diy F5T power amp on its way that will try to replace my Electrocompaniet AW120DBM amp. All driving a set of PBN Montana EP speakers.

Nice to meet you all. I hope we will have some nice discussions over the next few years :)

Hello Dimmy and welcome to AoS. How did you come to build a custom 47Labs-based phono stage?

At the moment some of us are going mad on a tonearm cable made in Greece by a small company. You can read about it here (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=17071).

About the 47 labs phono, a friend of mine has the real thing and it sounded amazing. So making it a diy project was the next natural step :)
Although I ended up a bit far from the original design, I am pretty pleased with it.
