Hi! I'm Pål from Oslo, Norway.
I joined this forum cause I've found Speedy Steve's post about the brilliant counterweights he custom makes:)
Most of my equipment is 2nd hand, and I still havent "settled" with the equipment I now own. I have a Yaqin ms-300b amp, a Mhzs cd88e cd-player, a Technics 1200mkII turntable with some upgrades (thicker mat, new power supply and the kab fluid arm damper).. currently using a cheap at95e cartridge, but have a denon dl103r waiting for some modifications to the turntable (larger counterweight) so I can fit it. I love vinyl so I almost only use my turntable. I currently have a set of Audio Note An/e-b and a set of vintage Coral cx-77. Havent decided which to keep and which to sell, but will probably keep the Audio Note. I have a Jasmine LP2se phono stage, and I've got some homemade signal and speaker cables. I also have some simpler equipment standing and waiting to leave the apartment, that I've bought cheaply 2nd hand for some friends that I've been helping getting a nice sounding stereo for cheap. Fun to get to try different stuff, and fun to see that it's possible to get great sounding stereoes on a low budget:)
