Slow Motion Playback on the Touch

Well I've just received a 24/192 disc from Soundkeeper Recordings by Paul Beaudry & Pathways, album's called "Americas" and it is playing in slllooowww motion on the Touch!

Very weird. Anyone find a fix for this?

Do you have any software mods on your Touch Ali?
I ask as the Soundcheck mods had a wierd effect on some Internet Radio stations..made then play fast...so dunno if something similar?

I have some of the mods, but just the ones changing file settings, I haven't gone the whole hog.

Oh, and also the one that's meant to improve the s/pdif out.

Just reset the player to factory and it still plays in slow motion.

Ali - is it FLAC format? I'm sure I read somewhere that 24/192 FLACs can be played ok but not WAV. I can't find the reference now.

It's a WAV Martin.

Try converting a track to FLAC and playing it, for comparison.

I will, thanks. Won't be an issue in a few weeks as I'll then be using something other than the touch.

Well it's converted to FLAC but still plays slow. Plays fine on the laptop via VLC. :scratch:

Oh, that's strange. Mine plays 24/192 FLAC fine from LMS.

In LMS, have you got (in Advanced | File Types) for FLAC; AIFF disabled; FLAC disabled; PCM FLAC? Try restarting and playing it again?

Yes, that's how I run mine. In the WAV section I changed flac to flac/sox and now the wav file will play at normal speed but it's constantly buffering. Flac file still plays slow.
