Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, and apologies for the shocking image below. :stalks:

I just found an old photograph of the stereo I had when I was at school in the mid 70's. A Bush something or other. That non-state-of-the-art arm and stylus must have chewed the hell out of all the LPs I had back then.

Note the fashionable 70s purple wallpaper and carpet. I've been squinting my eyes trying to recognise the albums from the spines. Since I had mild OCD even as a teenager, they're all strictly alphabetical, so I can make out some Black Sabbath, Free, Genesis, Hawkwind, Led Zep etc.

The wallpaper reminds of our first house. There was similar in one of the bedrooms. Good selection of LPs back then.

Luckily, the spine of "journey to the centre of the earth" by Rick Wakeman is hidden in amongst all the polythene protective sleeves. Just spotted "I Robot" by Alan Parsons too, so that must date the photo to at least 1977.
