A cheap Techie imitator that is mainly plastic with a metal plate in the bottom that makes it appear heavy. I believe the arm is OK but would want to remove the phono stage/usb bits at least. I think Hi-Fi World once did a review in the hope I think it was a viable SL1200 alternative. It's cheaper than the Technics was so you probably get what you pay for.

I believe the Stanton "copy" to be substantially made, but haven't seen one other than in pics..


A Rega 3 with RB300 plus bits for £100 on that site is an absolute bargain and worth every penny I reckon.....
