Can't think of anything new under a ton with extra inputs, but have a gander on a couple of pro music shop sites since pro's, whether studio or "bedroom DJ" based, won't pay the over inflated prices of traditional domestic gear.

For good used, then a StanDac (Beresford) 7510 family will give you loads of inputs and a solid and predictable sound quality.

The Arcam RLink looks cool and has one coax and one optical input for £149. Dont know if this is too expensive or not, as for just a tad more - £185 - Stan's Bushmaster looks to be a great buy and a bit of a no-brainer.

DAC chips are reputedly now so cheap that a top quality DAC just doesn't have to be much more than a very few hundred quid to do a great allround job. I know many will want something extra, in casework/presentation and possibly added colouration as well? but it looks as if the Bushmaster is going to be a new benchmark around here, if not an outright reference.

I might have a couple coming up next month. I am going through some of the items that had minor cosmetic issues such like maybe a little scratch on the case or slight paint smearing in the printing etc.
