Hi,

Discovered this sight a few years ago when I discovered the Morsiani arm. It's a lot bigger now. www.theanalogdept.com.

Found a French site a few months ago when looking for information capacitors. The designer, Eric Juaneda, shows an interesting solid state preamp that'squite valve-like in the way it operates: large transformer, choke supply, low capacitance smoothing (300uF), open loop gain. It uses MPSA 18 devices which seems to be his favourite for such applications. http://tech.juaneda.com

Kind Regards,
Stephen

Hi Stephen, I have been on this website too. It is very interesting and some of the projects are really good. I have found the Analogue dept to be quite useful at times and to get a deeper insight into what people are using for a turntable, arm and cartridge. It's quite a diverse website.

Thanks for that Natalie. I've read of individuals getting fantastic results from homemade arms. One individual sold his Linn Ekos in favour of his homemade effort. The WTA and the Morsiani interest me. http://www.tnt-audio.com/intervis/morsiani_e.html
