Hello to all of you from the land of real football (AFL) and Sheila's! It's good to join your forum!! :grouphug:

I have been really impressed with some of the member's vintage TT's displayed on the forum. I love vintage gear along with music from the 60's to the late 80's. After that era it all becomes less interesting to me. :hmm:

Earlier this year I sold my entire system to leave the hobby, but then went in a complete different direction - back to SS and vinyl. :doh:

My system at the moment is a work in progress. :scratch:

I have a bit of gear which I intend to cull once I decide which bits I will retain as my system develops to where I think it should be. I am a bit OCD with Accuphase gear, there I said it! :mental:

My system currently comprises:

Technics SP10 MKII with granite and corian plinth.

LOMC - TBA (don't ask it is a saga hopefully to be resolved soon!) :mental:

I can't blame you for your Accuphase affliction - do you use the P266 in Class A mode or normal? Have you ever considered getting yourself another one & sliding the bridge connection switches? I suspect that 110 wpc in Class A would be something to behold!

Hi Tim, I usually get down to Margaret River once a year and stay with friends on their 2 acre block. It is truly gods country down that way, just a pity I don't drink wine! :doh:

The Accuphase gear doesn't come up too often in Perth, or even in Australia, and I can't afford to buy their gear new. I was lucky to purchase the P266 when it came up, but I have been keeping an eye out for a second unit. But yes it would be very nice to run two of them in Class A. :)

Darn, yes it is a pity..... I do fortunately and I tasted some of the finest wines I have ever had in MR. Sadly its quite hard to come by here, I think the buggers that live there drink it all :lol:

Yo Flemo, just come out of the rain :rolleyes: and seen your post and welcome to AoS from another Sandgroper now living in England with his Pommy wife. When I was last back in WA I took the missus wine tasting down at Margaret River and she got pissed. I told her she was supposed to spit the stuff out and then choose a range of bottles to take home. She said it was rude to spit :eyebrows: Stayed at my cousin's holiday place in Dunsborough, couple of minutes walk to the beach.

Hi Ron, we are currently getting smashed by severe winds and rain! We had a mini tornado - in Perth!! The weather recently has been very unPerthlike!

Good to hear Mrs JazzBones enjoyed the offerings of our wine country. Dunsborough is also very nice, I came within a whisker of buying a block there many years ago when they were almost giving it away, Bugger!!
