I've been trying out many different headphones and amps over the past few months. Primarily out of interest, as I already have two good headphone set ups. I'm staying with these, so this amplifier is now up for sale.

This is a Neco Soundlab v2.1 (latest version). This really is an excellent (UK built, not a cheap and cheerful Chinese jobbie) little amplifier. I've listened to most of the Slee models and I prefer this to any of those. I've mainly used this to drive my AKG K701s, which aren't the easiest to drive, and it does so effortlessly and with aplomb.

This amplifier is only a month or so old (11 months of warranty remaining), is in very good condition and works perfectly. Comes from a smoke free home.

This is a proper dual mono design and is built around two separate amplifiers. There are two external 18VAC power supplies, one for each channel. These use what I believe are Lemo terminations, which provide a very snug and secure fit (see photos)

Each amplifier is in two stages. First stage is an OpAmp voltage amplifier. Second stage is a discrete Class A Mosfet amplifier/buffer. Outputs of the OpAmps are buffered with Class A biased pair of high quality, ultra fast switching/response power mosfets.

The RCA inputs are very nice Neutriks.

Output is a silver plated 6.35mm headphone socket.

This can drive headphones in range of 32-600 ohms.

Size is 45mm x 108mm x 160mm (hwd).

These are a fabulous bargain at their new sell price of £171.50 delivered. I'm offering this amplifier at £109 delivered.
