Here is a rare beast for your delectation. An Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1 HiFi (http://www.esi-audio.com/products/prodigy71hifi/) PCI Card
After sitting in a box for a year, I dont think I am going to get around to using this. Especially considering my new build PC uses a mini ITX board and only has one PCI slot which I am using for graphics.:D

Anyway, this is an excellent high end PC audio card. It has been designed with separate analogue and digital sections to the board, RF shielding and socket mounted, swappable op-amps. Add in some Sanyo & Nichicon capacitors and gold plated connectors and we have the mix for some jolly good audio.
