I filled in a rather lengthy survey a few weeks ago and totally forgot all about it, and I certainly didn't remember there being a prize draw being mentioned, but I just got an e mail thanking me for my participation, and secondly.........that the prize draw had been won by me, for an Apple iPad 3!!!!!!!!!
Being cautious, well I had won billions from nice people before who live mainly in Nigeria, but never ever quite received anything, I decided to call the London number, to get the " this number is not recognised!!!!"
Huh! scam I thought, but then decided to dial again more carefully, this time it worked, and was answered by the guy who was the contact there, and oddly, despite calling from a different number from the one I had given them, he asked if I was Craig!
Long story short, I have definitely won one, and can't wait to get it!!!
Let me be the first to congratulate you Craig, well done sir!:)

Mr Craig, Sir. I have the honour of remaining Prince Musawi of Abuja, Nigerian Cultural Attaché at your esteemed service. May I be among the first to congratulate you on your Good Fortune. Unfortunately we are not all so blessed with such beneficence and through your Good Offices you will find yourself able to not only help your humble servant Musawi, but yourself also.
I will shortly be sending you a Western Union Telegraphic Transfer Number. For a modest sum of $50,000 sent to this account, not only will you receive your Technological Tablet that you have won at No Cost to yourself, but via the machinations of Eurozone Bailout Processes this sum will be multiplied Ten Fold with contributions from those esteemed Republics of Greece and Spain. I myself, will benefit only coincidentally from This Transaction, which, God Willing, you will initiate upon receipt of the Western Union number.
I Most Humbly commend myself to you and The Almighty.
Prince Musawi of Abuja.

Yes - well done Craig!
I love my iPad - when I can prise it away from the kids. Does a great job as a remote for all my Squeezebox players aside from everything else.
This is what I would do with one... (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpe8v8_grandpa-uses-ipad-as-chopping-board_tech)

I double checked all the details, they are a market research company that act for that well known German 3 pointed star company, and I now DO recall they asked if I wanted to donate a fiver towards a charity, or be put in the draw for a new i Pad.
Had a call from them a couple od days back asking what colour I wanted, my reply was on the lines of " I don't care if it's ginger pink with spots on.....or white!"

That maybe a bad move.
"Sorry sir, that model is out of stock and we shall receive some new ones when the Apple/Samsung Patent Case ban on sales has been lifted in Abuja, which should be sometime next December. Thank you for your patience."
