I have about 150 Hi-Fi Magazines accumulated over the years which I would like to give away - you can pay me if you want but I don't want to throw them in the skip :)
The bulk are Hi-Fi News and Record Review - various dates from 12/72 to 2/85 with the bulk of them pre 1981; and Hi-Fi for Pleasure 5/74 to 2/85 with more from the 1980s than the 1970s. A few Gramophones, Hi-Fi Answers (2 of them 4/76 and 12/81), Electronics Today International (only 2 of them), Hi-Fi Sound (10 & 12/76), HI-Fi Today (7/84), Popular Hi-Fi (five from 7/76 to 10/81), Practical Hi-Fi (six from 12/76 to 4/80), Stereo Review (02/73), Tape (05/74), Wireless World (seven from 2/78 to 3/80).
The worst thing about them is the prices of gear advertised, for example, "Celestion Ditton 66...yours for for £159.90 per pair, Sir."
I must have gone to a Hi-Fi show in 1977 as well as I have a small bag of brochures including perhaps several peoples' favourite on this site (judging from their equipment details) - a Technics one with their direct drive turntables in it.
I'd like to get rid of the lot in one go to save a lot of messing about so, if anybody's interested, give me a shout. Also I'd rather them go to somebody who will appreciate them than just take them off my hands and stick them on an auction website.
I live in East Bedfordshire and the postage would be exorbitant so pick up would be subject to arrangement.
