crash` cycling marathon
spare a thought for my brother who is doing and coordinating a marathon cycle race and tommorow is cycling from liverpool to ludlow in lovely weather having already completed about 180 miles in 2 days !
this is the plan
A team of 5 riders from Knauf Insulation are planning to complete a bike ride between its 4 UK plants over the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Weekend. They are out training very hard at the moment in the best British springtime weather for the gruelling challenge of cycling 350 miles over some very hilly parts of England and Wales in four days!
CRASH is the construction and property industry’s charity which focuses on improving buildings used to help homeless people by providing professional advice, supplying free materials or awarding cash grants. This unique, practical approach means that vital renovations and developments can be carried out to a high standard, providing a safe, sustainable and welcoming refuge for people in need.
Wirral Hospice St John’s provides specialised palliative care and support to patients with severe and progressive disease, usually cancer, where curative treatment is no longer possible. Their commitment is to improve the quality of life for patients whilst extending care and support to their loved ones.
