Internet Radio

Last night I discovered Absolute Eighties on internet Radio via my iphone. Fab! I enjoyed a stream of hit after hit from my favourite decade. Wonderful via Koss Porta Pros.

I'm also playing it now via my Squeezebox Touch at work. It aint exactly FLAC quality but the material remains enjoyable with what seems to be a minimum of DJ chat and adverts.

Anyone else have any favourite stations?

RMF Classic Rock from Poland. You do get the occassional dodgy eastern European rock track thrown into the mix, but it's mostly standard, well known classic rock. And no adverts!

Linn actually have three, a jazz, a classical and a mixed. Very good sound.

Radio Paradise just seems to have a never ending supply of great music.

+1 for RP and Linn, i regularly tune in to all their content. I've discovered loads of new artists from their playlists and bought their material (Boy meets Bear, Puscifer, Younger Brother, Dengue Fever to name but a few), someone at the record companies should pay Bill a fee for the good play he gives to up and coming artists as well as established favourites. Sadly the other two, Rockhard abd Freebird couldnt be found on the Arcam Radio tuner thing i use to add net stations to the Neo which is a shame as i like nowt better than discovering new stations.
