Even though my Nordost Vidar cable burner is in constant use there are plenty of spare sockets so all customers who purchase speaker, interconnect or tone-arm cables off me will get a free burn in included (the charge for this service can be up to £55.00). Considering some new cables need 40-50 hours burn in I think this service will be helpful to a lot of people as I have found 4-5 days on the Vidar saves anyone from having to leave their hi-fi playing non-stop for weeks to get the cables sounding right.

Above is the latest set of speaker cables I finished today, I gave them 4 hours burn in as I needed to get them to their new owner before the bank holiday break.

The Vidar accepts speaker cables with z-plugs, bananas and spades, tone-arm cables, digital cables and xlr cables.

Yes and many thanks David. First impressions are very positive, with exceptionally good midband and dynamics. Bass notes have definite texture to them. Have to give some more run-in time, very impressive.

Don't you shake 'em around in a cement mixer as well to align the electrons? I mean, all this running in on a machine and then you fold and coil them for shipping to the client?

I don't have a cement mixer. I use a tumble drier without heat! :ner:
