Hi friends,

I am Koushik Roy, from Kolkata, India.

My system is as follows:
Stereo: Music PC (Asus Xonar STX), Marantz PM5004, Quad 11L Classic, custom made metal stands.
HT: Sony Bravia LCD, Yamaha V371 AVR, Yamaha P8900 center-surround.

I generally listen to Soft Rock, Indian Hindi Music and Julio Iglesias, Jennifer Warnes etc.

Hi Koushik, welcome to AoS from me as well :) Nice to see another AV system user on here, even if it's seperated from the stereo side (often the best way).


This Yamaha centre-surround speaker wouldn't happen to be one of these sound bars would it? Never heard one, but wouldn't mind getting a liten to one at some stage, just to experience it :cool:

@MartinT - Over here it is hi-fi equipments are quite easily available but limited brands. Ofcourse not as wide choice as UK. But some places in India like Bangalore and Mumbai, more options are there.

@Reid Malenfant - Ahhh, no not that sound bar. It is separate center and 2 rear channels. Sorry for the confusion ;)
