HELLO

Hello to everyone,

Came across this Forum yesterday while looking for reviews of cartridges (the subject of my first thread coming soon).I was really impressed by the knowledge,systems and humour of the members.

My main passions are music,hifi and films.

My system is all LINN.I have a Radikal LP12 (soon to have a KEEL),Ekos 2, Kontrapunkt C with Uphorik phone stage.Ikemi cd player,2200 and Exotik.

Favourite bands are Cocteau Twins,The Smiths,Pixies,TalkTalk,Joan as Police Women,Johnny Cash,Radiohead,Electric Wizard*,Beach House,Echo and the Bunnymen,Doves,Black Sabbath.I could go on and on but I think you get the gist.I also like some Classical,Northern Soul and alittle Jazz.

Favourite films are Down by Law,Blue Velvet,Betty Blue,Ghost World,A Single Man,Control,Lost in Translation,Dead Man's Shoes and This Is England.

Welcome to AoS, Robert. You're definitely an eighties man with some of those bands, I used to love the Cocteau Twins and, before that, Black Sabbath.

Thanks, Bob. I've amended your profile accordingly. It's just that our American friends, for example, are unlikely to have heard of Cannock, in the UK.

Glad you like the forum. It simply represents the collective input and efforts of the management team and our members. We like to mix knowledge and experience in all matters audio, with a frendly and relaxed vibe.

I hear you're considering going for a Cadenza Black or Bronze. I'll be along to help you with that later :)

Well yes,not 100% LINN.I use VDH/CHORD Interconnects and cabling ;)

I also bought a Moth mains distribution block AND VPI HW 16.5 RCM last week:D
