Hello from the Texas Hill Country

[Infinite Baffle]

You may have been expecting Howdy, but it's just a plain old Hello from the hill country of Texas, located between Austin and San Antonio.
Anyway, my interests lie in both vintage, tube based systems married with modern sources - I have a Sonos ZP90 connected to a Windows Home Server that feeds my FLAC collection (ripped form my personal CD collection) to my Dynaco PAS3x highly modified tube preamp into my Harman Kardon HK250 amplifier. The speakers are 5 cu ft Acousticraft cabinets with Bozak B199a woofers and a compression driver for the mid/HF's and a Zilchlabs designed crossover arrangement. They are a take on the EconoWave speakers from AK. Also in the mix is a Schiit Bifrost DAC and a Micro Seiki BL-21 turntable with a Jelco arm.

Hi Greg, welcome to AoS :) You lost me on most of your kit, the only bits I recognise are the very last three that you mention :eyebrows: It all sounds pretty interesting though, possibly with a touch of DIY in the speaker department? :scratch:
