Hi Mark,

Thanks for your greetings. My system is very modest as per current hi-fi standards. The JVC XL-Z1050 CDP (Paradox Mod) is used as a transport for the Museatex Bitstream DAC (JW 04 BG Mod), Meracus Intrare Integrated Amp, Green Mountain Audio Europa standmount speakers with Goertz MI2 Veracity speaker cables.
As a part of my comeback to vinyl I am trying to get my Yamaha PX-3 TT up and running. A custom-made tube phono pre-amp is complemented with two 6SN7, one 6SL7 and one 6X5 rectifier tube. At the moment I use the Acutex 415 STR, and am going to try more carts like the Denon DL-103 that I currently own (waiting for a Denon HA-500 that I won on auction today).
Also, I put an eye on a very nice SAE cart that I'll buy when funds are available.

I am aware of weak spots of my system (major one is a room as I don't have a dedicated one)))), but open to opinions on further improvements.

As for music the taste varies dramatically :lol:... i.e. they are very eclectic - from early jazz and rock'n'roll thru' the 70's rock, soul, disco, pop, funk to variant indie-projects of these days. Very open-minded on that!
