I've happened upon this little gem on my search for reviews of the original Rega Cursa / Maia combo. The website I think is Chinese but it's a translation of the french original. The listening test revealed:
"The music has a seductive plenitude. The sound has flesh and stuffing but this impression of matter never causes the message to cloud over. It is not at all matt...and just as surprising, not too glossy either. The Cursa / Maia sound is sweet and warming - totally devoid of corpulance. The message is clear but never dry, running with natural ease."
Quite melifluous wouldn't you agree? Hats off to the translator & berets off to the composer.
