I have a situation where i cannot get a belt for my TT :steam: The only outlet ive found seem to specify a totally wrong size..

The Flat belt length folded in half is 273mm long, thickness 0.7mm, width 3.5mm but could use a 4mm but no more as it feeds through a belt guide!

The question is whats is the allowence for a new belt as the original has stretch??

& no wise cracks re: 'you wouldnt have this problem with an idler or DD turntable'

Origin Live do a range of belts for most turntables, plus an upgrade belt made to any size, which is an upgrade on the standard neoprene made belts. Bloody expensive though for an elastic band!:)
