Hello,

To enable me to pay a bloke in America to wind transformers, my Creek tuner is for private sale. Most of you will know the model, but for those that do not, it's an analogue FM only unit; designed by Mike Creek and built in Britain.

Here's the low-down:

The tuner is in full working order. It is in good but not mint cosmetic condition. I've attempted to show areas that are not perfect in the photos.

The dimensions are -
Depth: 19cm, Width: 42cm, Height: 5.5cm

If you are able to send money by PayPal gift, it's yours for £40.

I will ship the tuner using an insured (against loss), next working day service on receipt of funds for an additional £10, to a UK address.

Alternatively, you are welcome to collect in person during office hours from Cardiff or arrange your own courier pick-up.

I do have the Creek advertised elsewhere.

Price reduced to £30, plus the postage.
For those who wish to pay via an old school method, I'll take a cheque.

£30 for this tuner is a bargain. Just out of interest what Transformers are you having wound?? I'm potentially looking for a couple to be made up from pure silver!

Thanks Andrew.
I was refering to the output transformers that are being made for my tweaked Decware Taboo. These are scramble wound by hand and incorporate grain oriented silicon steel cores. The topology has been chosen to match the amp.

I do know of a chap that hand winds guitar pick-ups in the UK but not transformers. I'm sure that there are folks here that can help, however.

Possibly but I would want something upto Hashimoto standards to go into a SUT. I've spoken to Choir Audio and the best they can do is silver plated Cu :( but they do include a pure silver RCA output option ;)
