What valves are you looking for?

Valves are fu 29 / gu 29 and 6n1 and 6n2's.

Really I was interested in seeing how much they would set me back if I needed to replace them.

Since I don't know how old the valves are in my recently bought amp is it worth replacing the just for peace of mind?

I have seen Hotrox recommened at some places:

Watford Valves is quite well-known, but might be more expensive.

For those valves I'd say eBay is your friend. F/GU29 are cheap enough on there and I'm not aware of anywhere else that sells them.

6N1 can be replaced with these which I find very good and are cheap as chips-

6N2 can be replaced with 6N2P or 6N2P-EV which again are plentiful and cheap as chips on the bay.

BTW, yes, worth having spares to hand IMHO.

You may find the Russian valves sound better than what the amp was supplied with.
