The review gets it pretty much spot on, imo.
Very transparent and controlled. Excellent deep, taut bass.
Over the last couple of weeks I've had a hard time deciding between this and my Krell KRC-3 pre-amp! In the end I've decided that the Krell suits my musical tastes (classical) better. The NuForce is more transparent and controlled, the Krell a bit more 'sophisticated' in the treble.
