Excellent condition (couple of small scratches at top right on fascia - see photo), full working order, remote control.
No box or manual.

Lots of RCA inputs & outputs.

Made in England, not the later Chinese manufacturer, serial no. 214F000299

Clear, dynamic, focussed sound.

£270 plus courier cost, or collect from GL17 or meetup somewhere maybe.
Swaps / p-ex considered.

Don't tell me you changed that Krell for one of these????????

Actually, the original 8000Q ain't that bad at all and I'm sure would refine further with some boutique component TLC here and there.

Yep, the Audiolab is a mighty fine pre for not much money. I can imagine many folks being really bowled over by it - very clear & dynamic. But it doesn't quite have the musical sophistication of the Krell, but it doesn't have the Krell's price tag either! ;)

See, we do agree on some things :lol:

It really would be intersting to see what could be done with an old 8000Q though, since the concept was good, with low impedance output to drive long interconnects (as the Krell does so easily). Hope you sell it soon..
