Drain wire

:) Hi. Just acquired some Atlas Ascent speaker cable. It has a drain wire. Which end should the drain wire be attached, speaker or amp?

If there is a shield I would have thought the amp end would be most practical.

It goes to an earth point on the amp or a convenent screw on the amp chassis.
