My local vintage/junk shop has a Dynatron Lenco goldring in very good condition.
The owner was out so i will try and catch him tomorrow.
Its a lovely looking thing housed in a compact wooden cabinet with a tuner on the front and a graphic equalizer. I forgot to check the outputs so no idea if its phono or din.
Anybody know much about them or how much they go for?

PLEASE GET IT!!!!

The one I got for Dad had a Lenco GL78 fitted, the tuner offered presets and manual tuning and the little onboard amp wasn't bad either. A tune up and new V blocks on the deck, an AT95E and a previous repair to the amp made for a great little system, which sounded great into some HB2's I got for him.

It seems that these lenco's fitted into substantial wooden cases and plinths seem to retain more of their original condition and don't get bodged like so many others. It would be a crying shame to remove the deck for bodging and junk the rest, but if you have to.......

My first 'proper' amp was a Dynatron -

Sounded pretty good. Inputs were 5 pin dins.

If it has normal speaker outs and its no more than £100 i might have to spend the rent money.
