For sale: Unused, mint Ortofon M2 Blue
http://www.needledoctor.com/core/media/media.nl?id=18012&c=ACCT106601&h=239cadd6596c439f13b8
A friend of mine recently bought an Ortofon M2 Blue cartridge with the intention of using it in a Rega RB300 arm.
To his surprise (and embarrassment) the Rega arm on the Rega 2 deck has no provision for VTA, and the Ortofon is too deep a cartridge. The end of the arm would need rising using a spacer, however there is insufficient thread on the arm mounting to do this.
Reluctantly he has no option but to sell the cartridge. Thus we have a mint sample (the stylus is virgin, having never been in contact with any vinyl), complete with all the packaging, mounting hardware and paperwork.
More information can be found at http://www.needledoctor.com/Ortofon-2M-Blue-Phono-Cartridge
The cartridge cost £155, so my friend is asking £120 including P&P.
PM me if interested.
