I'm convinced that's the version I've got although I couldn't lay my hands on it right now. No idea where the stickers & posters may have ended up - £800+ with a day to run!, should've bought a dozen and put them away. Had a friend who bought 50 copies of Sex Pistols God Save The Queen banking on it being banned like Anarchy, all his mates ended up getting a free copy...

They are actualy quite common. I also suspect reading the text that this is not as good as seller is making out. Sex Pistols original banned single is actualy rare.

I own a white vinyl version of Dark Side bought in 1981 form Andy's Records in Northampton. Dunno how rare it is but I've not seen another in my travels so it is locked away for safe keeping...

Those stickers - those bloody stickers!
My first proper amp had one of the DSOTM stickers slapped on the side panel by it's previous owner. I tried to remove it at the time & wasn't really all that successful. I sold the amp last year and spent ages trying & eventually succeeding in finally getting the last of it off before taking the photos for the advert.

In all honesty Mark I did have a suspicion it might be worth a few quid, perhaps £100 at best, but I had absolutely no idea it was worth over a thousand pounds. Call it stupidity if you will but if it is that rare I think I will hang on to it. Incidentally, the outer cover isn't black like my other copy, it is a very deep blue. Another concern is that it is currently languishing in a flight case along with a load more of my old vinyl from the 1980's in my ex-wife's attic... :eyebrows:

It's not. They usualy go for £300 - £400 with all the inserts. You should expect timewarp condition for that. Also some apparantly have a pressing glitch on Money. They are just not realy rare enough.

I couldn't tell you if mine has the pressing glitch as it has never been played, as soon as I realised I had a white copy I went and bought another. The white copy has been sitting in a plastic record sleeve in a flight case ever since along with a couple of other rarities, including a white label acetate of Donovan's Barabajagal signed by the man himself.

I didn't Dan, IIRC I paid £2.99 for it from Andy's Records :D Whatever its worth it is kinda special to me so it will stay put. Incidentally the Barabajagal acetate cost me 50p from a car boot sale in Selsey and it plays like a dream, although I don't spin it these days as it can be a bit harsh on the old stylus... :lol:

The glitch is only on the solid triangle A2/B2 UK first pressing !! I recon that Donovan is worth the real money ! My guess is that white DSOTM is either German or Dutch pressing.
