Ah yes, love that.

Indeed - fuck it, and just play a 'record' instead! Love it :D

It neatly highlights the ability to stay 'in control', with physical forms of music media and traditional methods of playback equipment! ;)

Nice animation but mmmm should I make the case for the opposition? Streaming faultlessly from vortexbox, Android downloading spotify albums in seconds... nah can't be arsed, and I guess I've spent my fair share of time swearing at computers along the way... :steam:

Could you translate that into English? ;)

Ha - you're older than me, daftee! :eyebrows:

Well, WTF is a "Vortexbox"? S'ok, skip it, I don't really care enough to bother finding out!

My good mate Dave the Bass has a Vortexbox.
It's a music server.

I'm playing music files right now, but earlier I was playing guitar through my lovely baby Blackstar amp.

A full 1W of output too - disgraceful loud stuff ;)

Sounds like summat Captain Kirk or Scotty might use!

'Aye Capt'n, I'm ready to beam you up on the Vortexbox' :D

I had a feeling it'd be something like that. What I find amusing is that computer audio has almost created a whole new language of its own, and its aficionados bandy it about as if the jargon is now somehow common knowledge! ;)

I can wish

The game on Monday was originally scheduled for today - then Sky TV stepped in and fucked it all up

On Monday evening I shall be in Nottingham, so my guitars (and amp) shall be Far, Far Away (there's a song in there somewhere (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0NpJ7mcfPo)) ;)

Monday night will be tough, but I expect Newcastle at home to be tougher. They're looking for a Champions League spot.
QPR at ours depends on how much QPR need to win to survive in the EPL.

The amp is madness - 1 watt of valve power is not loud enough to play in a band, but it's a lot lot louder than you'd think (turn it down, turn it down).

Ok, i'll happily stick in a spanner in the works :D what a boring film. the guy obviously doesn't know how good HD audio can be. yeah computers dont work sometimes but that's no reason to curl up into a ball and regress back the womb.

Leonard McCoy (Bones): "Jim, there is no way you are getting me to step into that overblown meat mincer. I peeked over Scotty's shoulder when he was checking the Jitter figures and I'd rather keep my thigh bone connected to my knee bone thank you very much..." :D
