well thought I would add me system to date to the mix Have bought a new pre a glenn croft micro 25 pre, a teac vdrs 10 ( on its way ) a pair of monos which control the kefs wonderfully without any resonance which is always good and a pair of Kef Q900's

If you still have the VRDS10Se, a decent DAC (Bushmaster?) will upgrade the sound no end. The analogue output of this machine ain't no great shakes (I owned one for a year or so) and I believe the digital output is sprayed with some jitter too, but the latter could easily be sorted with a clock upgrade I reckon, as long as lasers are available still it's worth doing, and the transport on this one is a genuine scaled down article, rather than the thinly disguised cheapo Sony as on the T1 from memory :)
