There is a lot of info on AudioKarma about using two or more pairs of different speakers in a system. Opinion on the merits or otherwise is mixed. However,it is said that is some circumstances it can work very effectively.

As I have a condition (Hoardus Nervosa) that prevents me from ever getting rid of any stuff I buy, it accumulates and lots of it just gathers dust. Idle hands are a dangerous tool and so you can gues what is coming next:lol:

The Jamos and the larger Griffins are run in parallel by my modded Cambridge P500s, now bridged using a module board from EPE (Everyday Practical Electronics), the smaller Griffins (sporting Kef bass - LS3/5a) are run by a Sure Class D board.

Well, it works for me.....at the moment. But tomorrow........

Lunacy! But I love it - I am suffering from the same condition BTW - I keep trying to lend stuff out just to clear some space...never considered just hooking it all together :o

Yes, I picked up both pairs for £15 each last Sept. The smaller of the two pairs (can't find out their model No, no clue on the cab) are a great speaker, but very current hungry. The only way i have found to drive them to a reasonable level is by using a very hefty and fan assisted PA amp. In this configuration they are barely audible!
